Lancaster Bible College Joins as a Featured School

MEDIA ADVISORY, January 29, 2011 -- Lancaster Bible College joins as a featured school with a focus on their online Bachelor of Science in Bible degree completion program. This online degree competition program combines accelerated online courses and the possibility of advanced standing based on life experience.

LBC offers three online options: 1) Bachelor of Science in Bible, 2) a second bachelor’s degree (for those who already have one), or 3) a concentrated Bible course certificate:

  1. The Bachelor of Science in Bible is designed for those who have at least 45 credits from an accredited college or university and wish to earn a bachelor’s degree in Bible.  Students can earn up to 60 credits in this program option leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible.
  2. The Second Degree option is for those already holding a bachelor's degree in another field. The completion of 36 credits in Bible and theology will earn the student a second bachelor's degree in Bible.
  3. The Concentrated Bible Certificate This option is for those who wish to further their Bible knowledge on a college level but do not necessarily need a degree. The 30 credits earned in this certificate program are transferable college credits.
All courses are offered entirely online and are in an accelerated 6-7 weeks/course format.  New courses are offered every 8 weeks, so students can jump in more quickly than with a traditional semester schedule.   LBC is a non-denominational institution holding both regional (Middle States) and ABHE accreditation.
