Whole Person, Whole World: Taylor's Approach
Taylor offers an excellent academic experience. For the fifth straight year, Taylor was ranked Top Regional College in the Midwest in U.S. News & World Report.
- Distinctive Students. Thirty three percent of our incoming freshmen were in the top 10% of their high school classes. In the last year we have developed the Honors Guild to continue to challenge our traditional undergraduate students.
- Dedicated Faculty. America's Best Colleges list honored faculty with "A Strong Commitment to Teaching" saying, "The entire faculty shares a belief in the value of truly engaging the students." This engagement goes beyond the classroom, as faculty learn, pray and grow with students as they work on projects or go on mission trips.
The Taylor community is committed to spiritual growth and service:
- Discipleship. While not mandatory, our popular chapel service meets three times a week and brings nationally recognized speakers to campus. Chapel messages are also made available online for our alumni and friends. Many students also participate in developing the music program for chapel, leading discipleship groups in residence halls and serving youth through the annual summer Youth Conference.
- Student Life. – From Airband and Silent Night to athletics, the arts and other organizations, Taylor offers many opportunities to help students connect, have fun and serve with others.
- Local and Global Service. Through our Taylor World Outreach program, Taylor hosts many programs and events in order to engage and serve our local and global communities. This includes our Carpenter's Hands Ministry, Lighthouse trips, Spring Break Missions and many more...
