Bachelor of Science in History
King’s 48-hour online Bachelor of Science in History program offers students the opportunity to learn about Western history, non-Western history, historical research and writing and more. Graduates of the program will be able to pursue a variety of careers and vocations in the fields of church ministries, education, historic preservation, law, museum curacy and much more.
Students in the BS in History program learn about such topics as the Holocaust, the Reformation, medieval Europe, the history of ideas and much more. The History program at King draws upon many of these areas so that students can take a wide variety of courses.
This trac offers students a double major with other disciplines. The program of study that the student chooses must be included with their Declaration of Major. For this trac, students may choose 16 hours of history-related coursework in a different field (see electives below) toward eight hours of the History major. Students will end up with 28 hours of History plus coursework in the related field to graduate with a History major.
