Master Degree in Organizational Leadership
CCU’s Master's in Organizational Leadership (MOL) program is focused on effective organizational leadership in today's uncertain and constantly changing world. The research-based, servant-leadership degree is based on best practices from scholarly literature that emphasize human and organizational transformation.
As a student in CCU's master's in leadership program, you will focus on applying leadership principles to real-world social problems, such as environmental issues, immigration, health care, genetic engineering, human rights, and more. You will zero in on specific contemporary issues that challenge leaders in government, non-profits, business/economics, community, education, and religion.
You will also explore the concept of “servant leadership”, and consider how to incorporate the eternal wisdom and love of Jesus Christ in the way you lead others. And you will actively engage in endeavors that have a sustainable impact in public policy and social change – encouraging you to think globally and take action locally.
Part of your preparation will come in the form of applying scholarship to systems of communication, including social media. The course on social technology and public policy will provide you with unique learning opportunities and robust participation in the American democratic process and the rules and regulations that influence public policy. By utilizing social media in a positive way, you can influence others while better understanding yourself and your purposes in the process.
The Master's of Organizational Leadership program is ideal for adults who aspire towards senior management positions, or want to be successful business owners or ministry leaders. If you are interested in a master’s degree in leadership, but not interested in the business administration or finance focus of an MBA program, the MOL program can be an excellent fit for you.
The organizational leadership courses in CCU's MOL program can benefit skilled professionals from diverse industries, giving students an opportunity to learn from their peers, as well as their professors. They have in common the desire to become more effective leaders who are grounded in Christian ethics. The program’s leadership principles and skills apply to both for-profit and non-profit fields, as well as the military, law enforcement -- and any organizational setting. The program also prepares graduates for future doctoral studies.
