Master of Business Administration: Specialization in Accounting

The FEMBA program is designed to take students through a journey that embraces personal, professional, and spiritual transformation centered on a learning approach that combines theory and application. Students graduating from the FEMBA program will be equipped to address complex business issues in a dynamic business environment. In addition, students will leave the program with an expanded capacity to self-reflect, think critically, lead and engage others, manage change, and make effective decisions.
The primary objective of the FEMBA program is to provide graduate students with a Christ-centered business education that is rigorous and designed to prepare students to effectively lead organizations, implement change, and manage business affairs with conviction and in a manner that is honoring to God.
The accounting specialization will provide students with advanced training in a broad set of skills and quantitative methods that will enable graduates to oversee all functional areas of an organization and be responsible for the strategic direction of companies or specific business units within operations, sales, marketing, human resources, and administration. In addition, the accounting specialization provides students with the educational requirements necessary to become licensed Certified Public Accountants (CPA) in the state of California. The accounting specialization will provide graduates the opportunity to become licensed CPAs. The program is structured to develop students’ potential for career advancement into the highest levels of professional accounting or general management.
