Making Online Learning More Cohesive

With more college students enrolling in online courses, the University of Missouri began working to bring together all aspects of its online learning programs. The university's task force is seeking out the best way of making the online learning program function better as a whole. According to an article in the Columbia Daily Tribune, the online education programs at the University of Missouri would be restructured under a new administrator. This would allow the program to function more efficiently.


According to the article, the current online course programs would benefit from a more cohesive and standardized approach. Many instructors do not have the same definition of what e-learning is which makes the new administrator position essential. The task force is looking at other higher education institutions to see how they are making online learning programs work better.
