Colorado Christian Adds MBA in Health Care Administration

In response to the growing health care market, Colorado Christian University has added an emphasis in health care administration to its Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.  According to the CCU News Release, "The MBA-HCA will prepare students for such disruptive innovation by training them in health care economics and challenging them to evaluate creative and effective solutions to health care issues."

Colorado Christian University's MBA is a 39-credit hour degree with courses typically being offered in 7-week blocks.  The MBA program is offered fully online as well as multiple CCU sites throughout Colorado.

The MBA Health Care Administration emphasis includes the following courses as part of the MBA program:

  • Organization of Health Care Systems and Policy 
  • Strategic Thinking in Health Care Economics and Finance
  • Health Care Law and Accreditations
  • Quality Methods for Health Care Performance Improvement
  • MBA Capstone Course

Other areas of emphasis within the MBA program include Advanced Accounting, Corporate Training, Information Security, and Project Management.
