The University of Glasgow is one of Scotland's largest universities. The Department of Theology & Religous Studies offers a general degree in Theology and Religious Studies by distance education, the Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.). The program is the same as the classroom-taught general undergraduate B.D. and can be studied part-time or full-time, with the potential for students to do some of it in Glasgow if they wish, by taking some classroom-taught modules. But studying in Glasgow is an option rather than a requirement. You can learn more by visiting: http://www.religions.divinity.gla.ac.uk/Distance%20learning/index.html

The Department of Religious Education offers a distance learning program in Religious Education for qualified primary and secondary teachers who wish to develop their knowledge, skills and professionalism in theology, religious studies and/or Religious Education. It offers three levels of postgraduate qualification: Certificate, Diploma, and Masters.
