Independent Baptist; a ministry of Trinity Baptist Church.

The foundation of Trinity's educational philosophy is that all true education should be God-centered. This philosophy is based upon the Bible (Gods unique, inspired, infallible and preserved revelation of Himself to man), the Church (as described by the New Testament), and the Triune God. The very essence of Trinity's educational philosophy is that all true education be God-centered.

As a student at TBC you will have opportunity to...

  • Develop a heart for local church ministry.
  • Become spiritually and emotionally mature.
  • Win others to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Gain a good working knowledge of the Bible, discerning doctrinal truth from error and supporting that faith with Scripture.
  • Pursue spiritual growth, personal integrity and an evangelistic desire.

Trinity Baptist College was founded in 1974 by Trinity Baptist Church, and continues to be a ministry of this growing congregation with over 2,500 in weekly attendance. Dr. Tom Messer serves as Trinity's senior pastor.

The college is an Independent Baptist ministry. It has been accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools, an institutional accrediting body, since September 25, 1997. TRACS is recognized and approved by the United States Department of Education and recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Jacksonville, Florida is a growing city with more than one million in population. With an average year-round temperature in the low 70's, Jacksonville has an ideal climate. A great vacation spot and an open opportunity for ministry make Jacksonville a great place to live.
