Distance learning courses are supported through video/DVD lessons. All courses include online components and support. In order to complete the Master of Education program, each student must attend at least three courses on campus.

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) program is designed to prepare students for effective leadership in Christian, public and private schools. The Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Administration/Supervision, Gifted Education, Special Education, School Counseling, and Reading Specialist programs may lead to Virginia licensure or endorsements. All programs demand high academic and moral standards of students. Completion of a master?s degree in the School of Education implies thorough knowledge of the content of the student?s major.
The Master of Education program is a 36 credit hour program with the exception of the School Counseling concentration which requires 48 credit hours.
