Young women who come to Judson College learn to excel in the nurturing atmosphere of this small Christian liberal arts college in whatever they pursue. Our faculty is dedicated to providing opportunities for you to become focused, competent and self-assured when you graduate to your future.

Our English program is traditional, yet varied enough for you to explore your own particular direction in literature and language. Besides the English major, we offer a minor in journalism including practical experience through internships with newspapers and other forms of media.

The requirements for the major in English are 33 hours of required and elective hours in English above the 100 level (Freshman Composition courses do not count toward either major or minor in English).
