Bachelor of Arts in Religion
The seminary offers a complete four-year Bachelor of Arts in Religion (BAR) program for those who desire an undergraduate degree. The program consists of General Education, General Bible, General Religion, and various electives. The program is taken online or through a combination of online courses and resident courses.
The Bachelor of Arts in Religion is an undergraduate program designed for students who wish to pursue biblical and theological training to prepare for Christian ministry. The 4-year program may be taken through on-line courses or through a combination of on-line, distance education and resident study. The program includes one year of General Education and one year of Introductory Bible combined with two years of General Christian Studies. Students must contact the Registrar to enroll and gain access to the on-line program. The program is found on our web site at On-line Courses WebCT.
Students who possess an Associate of Arts degree may apply to the 2-year (90-hour) Degree Completion Program. The program may be taken on-line or though a combination of distance education and resident study. The Degree Completion Program curriculum is comprised of the last two years (General Christian Studies) of the 4-year program with 10 additional hours of electives.
General Admission Requirements: The degree calls for a student who demonstrates a potential for ministry, a faithful commitment to the Word of God, a servant?s heart toward the Christian community, and the personal discipline to complete the degree requirements.
