Modules are courses that meet for one-week (Monday through Friday). These one-week classes cover material normally given throughout a semester, but now the material is given in concentrated form. Most courses may be taken for either 2 or 3 credit hours, with additional work assigned for the additional credit. Course descriptions and assignments may be obtained ahead of time by contacting FBTS. Please register early for these classes. A Master of Arts degree may be obtained through taking the module classes.

The Master of Arts in Religion is intended for liberal arts college graduates who do not have a strong academic background in Bible and theology. This program is designed to give such persons a better understanding of the Scriptures to aid them in their service for the Lord as lay leaders in their local churches.
A candidate in the M.A.R. program must have completed 32 hours of graduate study (including all requirements pertaining to the degree) with a cumulative grade average of at least 3.0. In addition to completing all classroom work and degree program requirements, the candidate must have evidenced (to the satisfaction of the faculty) solidarity of Christian character.
