Bachelor of Arts in Addiction Studies
The Addiction Studies major offers students a degree which prepares them to serve as counselors in a variety of programs serving individuals who have drug and alcohol related issues. The program is designed to meet the requirements of the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC)and the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Educators (CAADE). Candidates complete the Certification Program in Addiction Counseling (CPAC) as part of their major requirements.
